Default FS: Excellent Gebr. Krusius Spike

    SOLD
On this one I'll just list the specs and the pictures:

    • 5/8 spike (no really, well almost perfect if you look under microscope), full hollow.
    • The blade is very clean - few tiny speckles of water stains. Light tarnish at the pin - I haven't depinned to clean it, but it will be better by the time it leaves.
    • No hone wear to speak of on the spine (I taped it when honing).
    • Nice profile on the blade.
    • Black celluloid scales, blade is well centered and almost too tight.
    • Marked De Boer&Bach (vendor?), but was made by Gebr. Krusius in Solingen. Comes with the box.
    • Jimps on top of shank for better grip.
    • Shave ready.

Since some people seem to be concerned about honing I am certainly happy to rehone the razor in the next few months, although I would think that by the time it needs honing you should be learning to do touchups.

Price: $65 shipped 1st class uninsured in continental US, other locations and shipping methods - you pay the difference.

yep, it's a rather nice shaver and looks fantastic if you ask me. Personally for this razor in this condition I think it's a fantastic deal (now that it's sold I can say that). And to preserve the grinding marks from the factory as well as I can, the only thing I've touched the blade with is water, alcohol, mineral oil and a cotton cloth (no maas).

In any case this one is SOLD. Thanks SRP.
