Default Looking for a couple nice blades

I am looking for two matching or very similar blades that I can restore if necessary and add some custom sclaes to. I prefer the spike point blades but I am willing to comprimise if I cant find exactly what I am looking for. The only other requirement I have is that there is no etching or writting on the blades. I am going to be giving these as a gift to my dad and I plan to have something custom put on the blade. If anyone has something that they would like to part with or has any suggestions on where to look please let me know.

Also I'm sure you've considered it, there's always the wapi route even though they are not spike...

Yeay I have thought about that and I might start to consider other styles of blades, or even possibly two different styles. I am going to spend some significant time making or finding some custom scales and a display box to give to my dad for fathers day next year so I have a little time before I really need to start comprimising on what I am looking for. I am really excited though as I have a detailed idea of what I want to do and I think it is going to be awesome.

Its nice to see someone else from Nevada on here I have been trying to pay attention but your the first one I have found so far. I am sure there are more of us though. I will be sure to post some pics and let anyone interested see and know the progress of the project. I am just hoping Im not getting too ambitious on this project, but hey I do have almost a year to complete it.
