    Default Razor Strap *Sold*

Sold! - I've got one razor strap which includes a leather strap and a "Barbers Best Fine Weave Linen Finish" strap coupled as one. It is branded: Illinois Razor Strop Company 361 that I purchased new from a local barbershop. Freebird gave me the heads up - thanks friend! They also had some pinaud clubman fairly cheap - if you're interested send me a pm.

This is the same strap that Freebird shows here http://www.straightrazorplace.com/fo...-2-strops.html

I hoped I could trade this to a friend of mine for his Kenrup strap, but he wouldn't hear of it. Send me a pm

You should try one before you give it up as they are great strops!

Whoever landed that should be very happy. I've been using an Illinois 361 since I started shaving properly 3 years ago. I've put some nice nicks in it and it still performs like a champ.

You do know that it is "strop" not "strap" right?

    HD,

Could be, but my grandfather always used his "strap" to get his "barber knife" ready for the morning's shave.

Yeah, I was thinking it was a case of "you say tomato and I say tomato"

My great grandfather said the same thing, according to my dad - he would strap up his knife on his razor strap daily

After all, it is just a strap of leather
