Thread: FS: Wostenholm "Supurb" Pipe and Robeson Shuredge

I can take non-CC PayPal. Prices include shipping within the US. Outside the US, buyer pays the price listed + actual shipping.

I'm not really sure what to ask for either of these, so I'm guessing. If anyone thinks the prices are high, please PM me. I have bills to pay, so I'd prefer to err on the high side.

5/8 Wostenholm "Suburb" Pipe razor: I'm not a big fan of full hollows, but I felt that this was a really nice blade, so I've been holding onto it. But now I have bills to pay and too many razors; as much as I like this one, I don't reach for it, so it's up on the block. The blade is in great shape with some minimal staining. Scales are imitation tortoise and slightly translucent, but they don't show up well in the pictures. In the interest of full disclosure, I will say that the blade has a slight warp to it, but it is only noticeable when honing and does not affect the shave at all. The blade is shave ready. Asking for $70 shipped.


6/8 (I think...don't have a ruler handy) Robeson Shuredge: Another full hollow that I was holding onto even though I'm not a fan of the grind. I was keeping this one because I went to the University of Rochester and still live in Rochester, so I thought I should have a blade from Rochester. The blade does not have much hone wear and features a hammered tang, but there is some staining on it. I didn't want to take the staining off, because that would likely remove the writing on the blade ("The Blade That Fits Your Face"). Also, there are some very small chips left in the blade, but I didn't hone them out because I don't notice them when shaving. The scales are rather warped at their bottom, but the blade centers on closing without any special attention. The blade is shave ready. Asking $45 shipped.

I guess I'll drop the Wosty down to $60. If she doesn't sell there, she'll go off the market and I'll put up a different razor soon.
