Default FS: Newbie Special $17 shipped

This baby is a De-Fi, honed up and shave-ready. It has a chip in the back, but it's way in the back and shouldn't bother you a bit. Shaved with this one tonight and man is it smooth. All you have to do is strop and go. Use it to shave, and later (if you enjoy shaving with a SR) use it practice honing or pass it on to the next beginner when you get some nicer blades.

Careful opening and closing, as it isn't centered perfectly.

Plastic? Neat design, but it's not wood, just plastic. Hoglahoo, I just sent you a PM with information on another deal you might be interested in

I don't mean to undermine the sale and I applaud the spirit in which it's offered, but I hope new straight users understand that the combination of the chip at the heel and the square point might make it difficult to get a good shave in the various hollow parts of the neck and under the jaw line. It's nice to have a curved point or heel for those areas.

    Steve,

I have been using a fromm shavette for the past month and have been okay in the neck area. The corners on the fromm are wicked, so i think this is a real big step up. Thanks for the advice though.
