Thread: WTB A hone for around $30 dollars american

Hola. I'm looking to get a hone that will definately last me a long while and be like a 4/8 k norton in that i can go from a norton to some paste and be shave ready. Im sure a barbers hone would also do that so im not against anything. Also any ideas let me know.

Also im curious about slip stones. Would they be good for honing?

Buy a small yellow coticule. It will last you a lifetime and do the job.

You may want to try a barber hone as well. Swatys e.g. are well regarded.
