Thread: WANTED: display box

I am going to put together a set for my father and I am looking for a decent size box that I can display the razors in. I was hoping to find something that I can lay them on their sides in a semi open position and possibly have room to add a small barbers hone in there on its side. I have found a few watch display boxes that I could modify and they even have a glass top so you can always see the razors. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what would work or if they have any old wooden boxes with a top that they want to part with. The size I am looking for is about 10" x 10" and about 3-1/2" deep. Slightly smaller or larger would work as well.

How about a wooden cigar box? I got a couple of very nice ones for $2 each at a local cigar store.

I think Kenrup can do display cases.

I just came from Michael's (arts and crafts store) where I purchased an 11X14 dark wood "Hinged Display Case" with decent looking brass hardware for $12. They also had 8X10, 16X20 and a really large one. These are part of their regular stock, so you might find them on there web site. I don't know if there is a Michael's near you, but they are having a big sale this Sun.
