Default FS: Joh Engstrom Frameback 'Dannemora Gjutstal'

    Hi Everyone

This one's for the 'Frameback Fanciers', new and old..
I've got a JOH ENGSTROM ESKILSTUNA (MEDAILLER 1876 PHILADELPHIA) Sweden Frameback up for sale. It's the only frameback I own and so would rather set my sights on hollow grinds and wedges. Along the spine is the wording "Dannemora Gjutstal" which I don't know the meaning of, though it's quite worn from hone usage. The Edge is knick-free and the scales are pretty immaculate considering how old this razor is. There is also a vague etching on the blade "J.E. 1874" with an arrow inbetween. The edge is quite keen and will no doubt hone up real nice given the reputation of Swedish steel.

I'm asking $80.00 which includes the shipping from South Africa. Thanks. ((SOLD))

Please note: in SA we can't receive money via Paypal - But we have a very secure equivalent called Setcom. I've sold to 6 SRP members without any problems, and they've pretty much said the transaction was easier than signing up at paypal. So please don't stress over that..

Thats a nice 'Tuna Jasper !

For the record, I am one of the six who purchased from Jasper Kade and - with the exception of the slow postal service from South Africa - the entire deal went off without a hitch. I purchased two straights and one blade-only, all of which arrived in great shape.

Thanks Crichton. Always helping a guy out

But when he says slow postage - it's basically 10-15 business days - and remember, South Africa is a looooonnnngggg way away. But hey some things are worth waiting for right.

I mean, if we were all part of the 'must have it now' generation, we'd be using disposables
