Default Anyone have beat wedges they want to send me so I can practice regrinds?

I will be thoroughly starting to practice doing regrinds in a few days. I have a bunch of razors that I don't care much about to practice on, but would like some more. Anyone have any regrind candidates that they really don't want? I'll cover shipping. Preferably wedges or razors with more metal that can be taken away. i.e. a full hollow won't do. Anyone?

Good question! If we do, I might have one to send.

Well I didn't really think about that lol. It will be practice, so I can't guarantee I won't mess something up. If you want to cover shipping though and you want it sent back- good or bad- I'll do that lol. Just don't send me your best razor since there is a slight chance that it won't look great.

Why would you want to regrind a wedge?

Sometimes regrinding can save a heavily pitted razor or correct a frown or larger chips.

    You've got a PM, Al.

And just so this post isn't a total hijack, I might have a blade for you. Before I commit, I want to take a shot at sanding it, cause it has some pitting and rust. I'll contact you via PM at some point in the future.

Primarily because it is the first logical step to practice grinding a razor before I start trying to make my own. Secondly, you know those razors Gary (Traveller) reworks and sells? You know how the blades look so shiny and new? Regrinds my friend...

I have a pile of blades in varying states of decrepitude - perhaps 10 or so - that I will gladly send. I don't think there are any full wedges and some have some sizeable peices missing, but if you want them, they are yours.
