Shaving Monk
SALE: Bengall (Early 1800s)
I have two of these razors, and I only need one in the collection...
BENGALL / CAST STEEL (Early 1800s): The blade is a 5/8+ old school wedge. The scales are bone. The steel was handsanded to a 400-grit satin finish. $70 SOLD
The scales are a little warped, but the blade still closes dead center. And one scale is cracked at the wedge pin. (It was re-pinned at one time.) The blade edge is fine and dandy.
(NOTE: This razor is ready for honing.)
According to the production dates, the blade shape, the scales and original pinning style, I am dating this razor to circa 1810-1820.
Please contact me with any questions. Shipping is FREE via USPS first class. Inquire for international shipping rates. PayPal preferred. No e-checks. (This is the fine print.)
Thanks,
Christopher
