Cheap, good Razors!
Girlfriend says I have too many (over 250!). So, my very first sale!
This is my first batch sold as "shave ready." Actually, these are the first razors I have ever sold.
I don't normally restore the antiques to new-looking condition because it makes me nervous to remove metal and historic value. I do give them a thorough cleaning and I sanitize them. If you want to polish the crap out of a unique old razor, be my guest, but it invalidates my warranty.
I think these are good razors for a newbie.
Terms:
1. Price does not include shipping or insurance. I will add it once we are in contact.
2. Use completely at your own risk.
Warranty:
If you're not satisfied for any reason or just change your mind, return it to me in the same condition within 45 days and I will refund the purchase price (not shipping). If it is damaged or arrives after day 45, I probably won't do a return. The clock starts on the day I ship it, not when you receive it.
Go ahead and use it and strop it, you can still return it within 45 days. More details if you are interested in the razor.
Here they are.
1. SOLD Dovo, 5/8, Hollow ground, Solingen. $40.00
Nice standard razor. Less than 1 year old. Has seen some use but is a good shaver.
2. Ontario Cutlery 6/8, Hollow ground. $25.00
Antique with very good steel. It honed easily and shaves beautifully. Has some pitting and minor corrosion, and someone sanded the sides a little. I'm not surprised that it has lost about 1/16" of width, some previous owner loved this razor and shaved with it a lot.
3. "Spike" 5/8 wedge, Union Cutlery Olean NY. 2 pictures $32.00
Antique. Nice railroad motif. This is a silent, smooth shaver. It is pretty shiny, but has extensive minor pitting. Anyone else would have sanded and polished out the pitting and sold it for more.
4.SOLD Mulcuto, 6/8, Solingen, Hollow Ground. $25.00
Fancy antique with nice sunburst designs on razor, I have only cleaned it and honed it. It has lots of the original gold wash so I did not polish it, for fear of removing the gold. Beautiful scales in perfect condition. I could probably charge twice as much if I polished out all the little rust marks. Your gain, my loss.
Send me a PM if interested. I will not remove these prices from this message, but will mark the ones that are sold.

All sold
I couldn't seem to edit this any longer, so I'll just post a follow up.
All four are sold now.
