Default 5/8 Droescher Classic – Shave Ready

Here is a 5/8 Droescher Classic full hollow ground singing razor from New York. Although it is not the nicest looking razor, it took an edge better than most of the Dubl Ducks that I have honed and shaved with including several Wonderedges. It is in clean but not perfect condition as shown in the pictures. This one has gone through the entire Norton 4K, Belgian Blue, Belgian Yellow, Vintage Escher, Nakayama Maruka progression and is shave ready. Let me know if you have any specific questions about this one. Asking $79 plus $5 shipping in the US.

Price drop to $74 plus $5 shipping . You can find a more fancy razor for more money, but I think that you would be really hardpressed to find a better shaving full hollow ground razor for any price.

This is ridiculous. I would've bought all of your razors and sadly, I can't afford any one of them right now. Sigh.

Is it my imagination or does that razor bear a striking resemblance to a DD lifetime?????

The blade I mean of course, not the scales

Yes, Glen, that's the well known 'NY barber supply' design. As far as I know it was very exclusive and the companies who were allowed to produce these blades were kept in deep secret. We know from few leaks that Puma was one of them.... oh wait, I see a NJ-registered meat truck pulling outside... two large guys with dark glasses and suspenders coming.... something tells me I may not be available to post for a while... remember me good friends, I was only trying to help...
