    Default SALE: Bengall (Early 1800s)

I was keeping this razor in the collection, but I have a few projects I need to fund, so...

BENGALL / CAST STEEL (Early 1800s): The blade is a 5/8+ old school wedge. The scales are horn. The steel was sanded to a shiny-satin finish. $75 SOLD

The scales are a little warped, so the blade must be guided. That makes it a good candidate for rescaling, but I could never bring myself to do that. (Even with the one bug bite.) The original scales are so strong and beautiful. And I love the way it blends from golden honey to dark brown. Pure heaven. (Can you tell how much I love this razor? LOL)

(NOTE: This razor is ready for honing.)

According to the production dates, the blade shape, the scales and original pinning style, I am dating this razor to circa 1820.

Please contact me with any questions. Shipping is FREE via USPS first class. Inquire for international shipping rates. PayPal preferred. No e-checks. Happiness guaranteed. (This is the fine print.)

    Thanks,
    Christopher
