    Default WTB: Shave Ready Razor

Hi. I'm new to straight razor shaving (been DE wet-shaving for awhile now). I have a couple straights that I've been restoring (I'm a designer and enjoy doing this sort work with my hands). I'm now trying to hone them myself. I need to know how a true shave ready razor feels on my face for a point of comparison when doing my own honing and restoring.

$30-$40 shipped in the US is my budget. I pay with Paypal. I realize that I can't be picky with that budget, but my other two razors have white scales...I'd like variety, but won't look a good deal in the mouth. The main thing I need is a properly honed shave ready razor that will set the bar for any future work I do (if I stick with it).

So if a old pro would like to help me out, that would be great. PICs of the razors would also be great. I'll welcome any advice as I try out this form of shaving and restoration hobby.

Question: Why don't I just send one of my straights to a honemeister?
    Answer: RAD.

    Thanks,
    Gabe
