    Default "CUTTHROAT" Sugar Skull

    Hey guys and gals,

Here's a wicked piece of cutthroat art by my girlfriend, I posted about her art in the vendors corner last month and you guys generated a lot of hits on her eBay auctions and website. I'll let her tell you about the piece:

"Sweeny Skull" - Sweeny is an original skull decorated with traditional tattoo design, and was inspired by the "Dia de los Muertos" sugar skulls. He's been painted in a base coat of chrome/silver, to give him the feel of a cold blade. An old school straight razor and roses decorate the back of his head. There's a bit of blood on the razor, and some definite blood pouring from his eye sockets. "CUTTHROAT" is written across his forehead in tattoo lettering. This plaster skull has been hand crafted, painted in acrylics, and has been double sealed with a protective coating. It measures 4.5" tall x 5" deep, and I've attached a felt bumper to the bottom for protection. This original work of art is signed on the bottom by the artist (me). Sweeny looks intimidating, but he just needs some love! This piece is ideal for the straight razor and/or tattoo enthusiast, and is definitely one-of-a-kind!
Sweeny is $30.00, including S&H (in the U.S.). I accept Paypal or money order. Please feel free to ask any questions. To view more of my art, please go to Illustrated Ink Art - Original, traditional and old school tattoo paintings.
    Thanks for looking!

This looks like it would be right at home here. It will become part of my menagerie at Dr. Trinidad's World Famous Traveling Medicine show.

It really was. If liked that, you should check out the link to her website and ebay auctions. Right now she is building inventory for the Old Pecan Street Fall Festival here in Austin but she is very happy to do custom pieces also. I'll pass the compliment along to her!

    Thanks,
