Excellent craftsmanship and thanks for reaching out to the community for ideas!

Everyone has offered great input! I agree with different sizes and possibly some type of soft lining to offer more protection and reduce movement. I would mainly use a case or couple of cases when traveling.

I have always steered away from current case offerings and travel with straights because it requires me to leave an unstropped razor in storage. Unless I bring my strop, which is too long for my luggage, as I pack lighter than a criminal running to Mexico.

If I could get a dual razor case that folds in the bottom, containing linen and leather sandwiched in between, I would be interested.

The stropping components can be 1.5" or 2" X 6" to be functional, plus if they were backed by a semi-hard surface, it would add to the protection of the razors. If I could throw it in the bottom of a backpack and not worry about it too, now we're talkin'

Thanks for the input guys! all ideas to consider. definitely will consider at least one more size. I kept the design simple as far as decoration on this one since it is sort of a prototype. already found i need to adjust the one of the dimensions on it for the next one.
The sheep skin lining is a good idea but Is there some sort of material it could be lined with to fill space that wouldn't attract moisture?

Itnwould complicate things further, but a dessicant pack pocket in the bottom or top flap would eliminate alot of moisture issues.

I often burnish the inside of my knife cases with Bee's wax. I don't see moisture being a problem if the blade is properly dried & it's only a few days.

You could always cut & form inside the case, a liner made out of a Gun sleeve/sock. One of these is under $10.00 & liner about 20 razor cases.

I have a couple of SRD leather cases, and I much prefer your rigid design aesthetic. The climate in eastern WA is fairly dry (except for possibly this last year), and I have had no moisture issues with the 2 razors I have stored in my cases (always drying the razor for a day before returning to its case).
