    Default CT Bingham Tally Ho

So I bought and shared this razor some time ago and finally got things wrapped up.
This razor came with no washers on the pins, now try as I might I could not get a 1/16 pin to mushroom enough to work. Also since the scales cracked at the pivot I used washers to try and strengthen that back up. Glued the cracks and sanded the scales a bit just to clean them up. I did not soak in neats foot, the blade is not perfect so I didn't feel the scales should be taken to that level. Original lead wedge and scales, went for the satin look on the blade face and I am happy with it. The rest is polished but there are still pits and character throughout.
All in all I'm leaving her patina and blemished. Honed through 12k and headed off for test shave.
    Thanks for looking gents.

Very nice job. A razor of that age should not be perfect. It needs some imperfections to give it character.

Just couldn't bring myself to go any farther. There are bug bites I was going to fill and some other issues. At the end of the day I like the well worn look I ended with. Thanks Bouchie

    Looks Great! Authentic, yet clean.

A nice example of a long-ago regrind, expertly done. Some of my favorite shavers!

Thanks for the reminder: my Tally-Ho has been sitting unused for far too long.

Thumbs-up for the decision to stop when you stopped. I think it looks great without being over-prettied.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Great job! This is one sweet razor, such nice lines. Nice work on the finish on the blade faces, got the warm glow going pretty good!

I think it came out well thank you Tuzi. Used red scotchbrite for the final finish. Boy does it shave great! Now to add it to the thumb notch thread
