Default Wade & Butcher, Sheffield, England ~ "Maxfarce""

Here's another restore for one of our members Don aka "Maxfarce".

He send me this W&B and wanted the blade restored with the famous faux tortoise scales.

The blade had some heavy hone, edge wear and the usual scratches and usage wear. I removed all off it, cleaned, polished and buffed her back up to showroom condition.

It's a very nice wedge razor. The blades sides are practically flat making it nearly a true wedge. I feel really lucky and humbled to be working on such precious razors.

Don, enjoy this truly amazing razor!

    Brand: W&B, Sheffield, England
    Grind: Wedge
    Width: 6/8
    Total weight: 2.5 Oz
    Total cutting edge: 2.75 inches
    Wedge: Transparent Acrylic
    Pins/Washers: Brass/Nickel Silver

    Thumbs up It's a beauty!

Thanks in advance, Max, from Maxfarce. I love the faux tortoise shell scales and the blade now has a simple elegance, pretty impressive. I'm eager to see it in person.

I'll explain the Maxfarce some time.

    Great work!

Well, Farce in French means 'a joke' or more like an Aprils fools joke. Maybe you did something funny..

Pics don't do them even justice Don!
