Exclamation Fancy 6 Day Set: #6 Tuesday- Spalted Box Elder

Here's the last razor of the Thomas Turton & Sons set. Scales are stabilized, spalted box elder in a one-piece design. This one has the same fancy spine as the rest but I forgot a photo of it. On the back side of the scales by the pin: that was once a worm hole. It is now filled. Pics are pretty self-explanatory I guess. Enjoy.

I'm a sucker for 1 piece scales ever since buying the brass frameback. I also like the point. How does it shave?

This turned out to be one hell of a set.

I bought an old Wade & Butcher on Ebay for a restore. I was thinking on a one-piece deer antler scale with only one pin. Will opening and closing the razor put too much stress on the scales with only one pin ?
This razor is goergeous, very nice piece of wood.

That may be the best looking razor I've seen. The one piece scale really looks nice against the heavy grind.
