Default G. Wostenholm "Celebrated" I-XL Custom Restore in Horn Acylic

This one is another of the four Sheffield's I have been working on for the last week..... A 7/8+ George Wostenholm & Sons Celebrated I-XL Washington Works Razor....
She got to me in pretty bad shape...

After some time on the buffers and I ended up with a beautiful satin finish.... I used some of the new acrylics I just received yesterday, this is the Natural Horn... The shape for the scales is kinda from an old Genco razor adapted to fit this Wostie...
I used all brass hardware and added the center pin with the brass concho...

The razor again balances out to the tang....

I also took this shot to show that the scales are not stressed at all from the center pin

Glen, this is one of the rare occasions on which I would agree that re-scales can actually enhance the look of a razor. Beautiful. Thank you a lot for sharing.

I have never seen Horn Acylic, and I was nervous when I clicked on this thread. I'm happy to say I really like the material, pattern and color. You did real good here. Great work!
