    Thumbs up J.A. Henckels - Zwillingswerk #42 1/2 ~ Abalonecrylic

Here's a drop dead gorgeous shoulderless NOS Henckels I was able to get my hands on. The blade itself was immaculate. Came all the way from East Germany.

The only thing I did was throw it on the wheels with some green rouge.

I haven't seen many of those around. And those Henckels numbers are still a total mystery to me.

As to the scales. Abalone with a black backing and acrylic top layer, tapered acrylic wedge and all that jazz.

Will hone this one up tomorrow since it's already accounted for.

Never had a Henckels that didn't perform.

    Enjoy.

    Specs

    Total cutting edge: 2.65 inches
Grind: 6/8 - half hollow - round point
    Scales: Abalone acrylic

    Pins/Washers: Brass

Good lord. Love the Abalone finish. Short of raising the bar I'm thinking you can place the bar wherever you damn well please Max! Sublime work.

Max, that is utterly super! I love those bigger shoulderless Henckels. Someday I'm gonna find one for myself.

You and Henckels, that is probably the best combo I can imagine, as they are so far my favorite razors and your work is always something to admire too...
