Default Very Special Frank Hess Handforged X in Abalone Acrylic

Gugi Gugi Gugi I hope that you know this is never coming home to you my friend... Trust me here, it is going to take weeks, and weeks of tweaking on the hones, and many, many, test shaves, before it is perfect enough to leave my clutchs...

This is a true 11/16 Spike Point NOS blade that Gugi sent me for polishing, to be scaled and honed...
It is stamped Frank X Hess "Hand forged" on the front and has the expected Hess Hair Milk Lab. St. Paul Minn. stamp on the back along with a 100 stamp...

If you have never shaved with a Hess and you like full singing hollows this is a brand you should keep an eye out for....

I used one of the new colors of acrylics I got got in this is called Abalone, it has all brass hardware holding it all together...
Maybe just maybe Gugi might see this one come home in the mail

WOW!That's nice. Those swirls in the scales look like spirits in an impressionist painting.

Very nice Glen. Send it this way and I'll forward to Gugi. One question: Where did you put the batteries?

Well Glen, I can tell you're really going to have to put in a lot of work on perfecting that edge.
Just send it my way if you need any help
I think you just found a material that might just supersede my lust for "cracked ice" scales.
    What a stunna !
    Congrats Gugi.

That is one beautiful razor and set of scales you have there...I can see how you would want to keep her. Clean and tight all thru.
