Max, How does the Micarta polish? I have worked it for insulators but never tryed to polish it.

Same as you would with any other scale material, only difference is lots of patience, elbow grease, time, always makes sure all the sanding scratches are uniform and gone from the previous grits before moving on to the next grit. Sand as high as you can go or want and or use the buffing wheel to finish.

Can you brief me on what you did to make that? I'm familiar with fabrication, fiberglass, epoxy etc so you don't need to explain a lot I just want to know what you did.

Please elaborate. Do you mean if or how I made the canvas micarta myself? No, I didn't. I bought the sheet pre made. Or how I actually came to the final scale design and outcome? That's a longer story.
