    Default Dubl Duck Wonderedge Re-build

I have begun to call these re-builds because they go beyond just restoring the razor..

This one is from my good friend Gugi, here are some before pics...

A during pic, you might want to note the rods holding the inlays in place as the epoxy dries...

Now I can't believe I didn't think of this before but it came to me when I got this new pearl White acrylic that the Wonderedge razors actually started off life White, not the Yellow/Gold that we see so often now... So on this re-build I used the White Pearl, I polished out the blade and put in all new hardware....

    Sweet!

I do like DD's, they're just great looking razors and shave really nicely!

    Great job Glen!

You know, Glen, when I first saw you say, they were white, I thought to myself.. no way...

But, I took the set I'm currently working on to a belt sander. There is some faux MOP 1/8" stock beneath it for comparison..

There may be some truth to your statement!!!!

    Yeah there is some truth

Every now and then you will see a true NOS Goldedge or Wonderedge that has been tucked away somewhere safe, and they are White not Yellow...

    Great looking rebuild Glen.

I just found this one yesterday hiding in a cigar box. Scales are pretty white.
