What do you think of the Epoxy finish vs CA? In my head i am thinking Epoxy would be a bit easier and less time when doing multiple sets of scales.
CA is a pain. I have tried using it before but it is just to tedious and the fumes can kill you. Epoxy is not a walk in the park either but much easer to work with. The trick is the scales have to be elevated and perfectly flat. Otherwise the resin will settle off center while curing and you will end up with bald spots. When I make scales, I usually do a dozen at a shot and epoxy is much easier to put on when working in those numbers.

All 4 of these are headed for shavingshop.com, along with an Ironwood and ebony. I do a fair number of scales for him.
