This one is for someone else. I rescale a few hundred razors a year. However, I do have the same razor in my personal rotation. They are very good shaving razors. The grind is quite stiff and the blade shaves more like a wedge then a full hollow ground. Honing, these ice hardened stainless blades feel harder than normal carbon steel. It takes me a little longer to hone one but once honed it holds the edge very well. It is a big blade. I have a template just for these. The blade is about 1/16 longer than most and the tang is another 1/16-1/8 longer than most. If you tried to put one of these in a normal sized set of scales the blade would almost stick out past the end of the scales.

Epoxy finish is flawless, and the scale shape is subtle and sexy. Very nice!

Very classy. It has a confident, solid look about it.

Even when I let that finish set up a week or two, it is always kinda gummy when sanding low grit. Do you just work it through or sand/cure any way out or norm? (sorry if this is more of 'workshop' type quiz)

Sounds like you your mix ratio's are off. A hair to much hardener or resin will prevent the resin from setting properly. I mix by weight and use a 0.1 gram scale. There are different brands of resin as well. I have used quite a few but settled on system-3. Resin is not overly difficult, but not easy either. When it is right, it is awesome, when it is wrong, you start all over.
