Arrow Ed Wüsthof #144 ~ Abalone LVS

You don't see or hear to much about them but Ed Wüsthof is as famous as J.A. Henckels. It's also one of the biggest and oldest cutlery companies in the world. Started in 1814 and registered their logo at the Berlin Patent Office as early as 1895. Still operating from Solingen Germany.

They made daggers and knifes that were used in the early WW's. Off course they made a few straight razors.

This one had the basic crap and staining which nicely came off after some work on the buffers. Scales are as everyone already knows by now, 100% Abalone shell with an acrylic top layer and black backing. Tapered with a G10 Jade Ghost wedge, SS, Brass and Silver nickel hardware.

    Have a nice day.

Awesome. Thats a stunning razor to pass on to your little man. I'm working on a 7 day set for each of my 2 boys. Thats how I justify mt RAD to the wife anyway.

    Very nice!!

Wusthof razors are not as plentiful and are unappreciated. A great razor for the little guy some day.
