    You can restore blades using both methods, hand sanding or power tools, or a combination of both. These ones are hand sanded. It takes a while, but it's also nice to have a project on the go.

    As for tools, maybe the big guys can chime in too, but I'm pretty sure they use a grinder that's been refit with muslin wheels (or something similar), and then cotton wheels for the final buffing compounds.

    Amazing Job! Beautiful hand work and the scales are super fine! The wedge is very cool!
