Hey there,
I'm not familiar with the term "steampunked", but that is a very unique look. Great work. Nice old caplock also.

As far as the razors go, very nice workmanship. They look great.
As far as the whole steampunk style goes, I dig it man, very cool, I did a google image search and there's some awesome looking steampunk stuff out there.
Thanks for making me aware. (man I'm old)

I first came across it in movies (12 Monkeys, the dumb movie Wild Wild West, the Golden Compass, Hellboy, 20K leagues under the sea, Sherlock Holmes, Steamboy, The City of Lost Children, Mutant Chronicles, etc) and I realized that I was as steampunk fan without knowing the genre existed.
Since then I've made a keyboard, these scales and a bar for my kegerator in this style. I also collect Victorian firearms so that probably has something to do with my tastes in this area!

WOW you did a very good work on making those razors have an steampunk look to them, i just love it! Amazing how you have managed to make the wood itself also have that kind of look! you should be very very happy with those two.

In your dirt, stirring it up
Your're a nut! I love it! Man, if you could make that movement "tick" that would be awesome. I actually bought a brass-handled razor from the guy who did the computer pictured. He advertised it as "steampunk" and I asked him about that. He sent me some links. I really dig that stuff.(wasn't you, was it?) Great job!
I suppose balance is different in proportions when dealing with steampunk razors?

No I'm not that guy. He's a bit out of my league skill-wise!
I'm definitely going for balance in that I want the razors to be fully functional and comfortable to use. I'm still pretty new at this stuff. Too much time in my hands I guess! Actually I've got 5 kids so its not too much time, its that I have to get away or I'll go nuts!
