Thread: Finishing up a couple of customs W&B and a Boker

These came out to me from Freebird for rescales and some clean up...
I did some light polishing on the buffers after I tore them down... Just to get the the blades gleaming again....

The Boker went into a set of Bolivian Rosewood scales, the wedge is Black Buffalo horn, pins and washers are Nickel Silver and SS...

The W&B was done essentially the same way except using Lignum Vitae for the scales, and a Emerald acrylic wedge, same pins...Both sets of scales were finished in wipe on poly... They were then buffed with Ren wax...

The bolivian rosewood has an awesome grain. And the wedge on the set of Lignum is very striking. Nice job Glen!

I had never heard of this wood before and looked it up on wikipedia, WOW
