    My dear Glen:

That set of razor and brush is a proud combination of quality work. Congratulations, sir. Well done.

    Regards,

Beautiful work guys. Nothing better than a well executed timber rescale.......except the rescale coupled with a matching brush. Love the matching set. Well done, both of you.

    Glen,

Is there any limitations to the types of timber that you can use the Tung oil with?

Tough question,, Yes and No given enough time and the proper set up, you could use it on just about anything -BUT- it isn't always the right choice IMHO there are certain looks and textures that I go after, and I pick the finish to best achieve that.... Also woods that are very oily take forever to dry with Tung Oil there are even different Tung Oils and mixes out there... Just like about everything when it comes to this sport there is no hard and fast answer

Awesome finish there Glen. I imagine you've done the odd gunstock that way.
I find the feel in the hand is distinctly different to synthetic finishes as well. Well worth the time investment IMHO.

Now, that's what I call "beautiful & Effective" collaboration

    Glen: Gorgeous scales...Love the pattern

    WillN: Nice brush handle

Travis: way to go in making this happen...without your participation, this thing wouldn't have been possible
