    Default Es-Ex (SX) 13/16

The first razor I ever restored was one of these so the wheel's come full circle
Had this one sitting a while in my resto box & thought it was about time to restore.
I had a heap of before pics but must have deleted them at some point.

These usually have a shallow etch on the blade that reads "The Famous Es-Ex Razor"
but the rust on this one prevented saving it. There are some specks remaining but as this is a "user" for me it's as pretty as I need. Wedge & scales are original. New pins & washers & thrust washers. Maybe one day when I'm bored I'll make some new scales but I always like the challenge of restoring Bakelite without it breaking

These are a great shaver as are most by C.F. Ern. I've had 2 others in the past which I regretted selling so I'm glad to have another.
