Default Wade & Butcher shortened blade restauration

Recently e-bay acquisiton did not pass so well. There was just one photo of the blade and I decide to "gamble" if we can call it "gambling" for 8 USD with shipping cost. When razor arrived I saw that blade is shortened for almost 30%. In any case I decide to do modification and to keep this one for myself. Final rasult after polishing, making new set of shorter scales from Cocobolo and honing is visible down. In any case this razor will find it's place in my collection.

I like it alot too! A senior forum member once spoke about the ease of use of a shorter blade over a longer blade. I have similar plans for many of my ebay specials. I'll get rid of the ugly with a grinder, and just make a shorter blade. But it's kinda shady for someone to sell you that without letting you know it had been shortened. Lucky you made it all work out! Looks great!

Obviously, seller was not aware how straight razor should look like. There is no description at all, just one photo, and as I told before, for 8 USD with included international shipping cost it's not big problem at all.

Looks good to me I've been using a cut down W&B alot lately and it is just as easy to use as the full sized.
