Thread: 9/8 French point dressed in Cobaltium Mokume Gane

This is a 9/8 French point with some file work, longer tail and slightly curved tang. Grind is a little hollower than 1/4 hollow. Steel is O1. Scales are M3 Mokume Gane Cobaltium with silver nickel pins and silver nickel/brass washers. Has been tapered with a G10 Hunter Orange wedge. Have a great Sunday.

After taking a third look I have to ask, Did you make the stair stepped washers or do you have a source for those? I like the way those look.

I just stack them with the #0 wide and #0 sized washers from micro-fastners. Depending the stacked look I go with brass/ss/brass or ss/brass/ss. Pins will be silver nickel or brass, again depending the blending and or look I'm aiming for. The rest is all hand peening/buffing to get them to look the way you see. One can use 3 or 2 layered.
