Default 1095 steel, Spilati wood and warthog tusk

    This is a interesting one.
I was sent a few pieces of Spilati wood and some wart hog tusk and was ask to make a razor around it.
So after some playing and testing here is what came out. I have say, the wood came out with some really nice colors once it was sanded down
The razor is 8/8 with a worked spine. The Spilati wood scales have been finished with CA. The wedge is made from the tusk and then for a little extra, I covered the tail with the tusk as well.

Does the tusk have a grain when polished, or is it more consistent?

As I sat here and looked at the first picture of the parts, I knew the finished result would be great. Awesome work!

Not much "grain" to speak of. Most of that may have to do with the size of a useful piece.
Like the 2 pieces I used to cover the tail have little to no grain pattern, while the wedge as a hint of a pattern.
