    Default Hockey Stick Scales

Today I put this together as a Christmas present for a buddy of mine. He's a big hockey player so i thought of trying to make some scales from an old hockey stick. The decals on the stick held up perfectly when cut with a chop saw and then a scroll saw. I sanded the insides smooth and applied a CA finish to them and the outer edges. The blade is an old Sears & Roebuck with monkey tail that I thought would add some "slap shot" to the overall design.

Nice, I really like that. Is the wedge made from an old puck?
Very original idea. Well done Tim.
