This one was a little different, I have had several razors cross the bench that have vintage "Custom" scales but most all of them have been un-workable... This one from Lance was an exception!!!
Here is a before pic, the scales were made from some type of horn which I had to break down and recondition, sand, and buff back to what I think was the original luster.
Make: Charles Jackson, Sheaffield
Size: 6/8
Steel: Carbon, Near Mirror buffing
Grind: Near Wedge
Scales: Unknown Horn
Finish: Neatsfoot Oil then buffed
Wedge: Lead
Pins: Brass
Washers: Brass
Hones: Norton 1-4-8, Select Coticule Finsher
Thanks for looking
