Default Custom Musk Ox Big Smiler 8/8+

    Hello Gents,

Here is a big smiling custom I finished up. Steel is O1, scales are the thick part near the skull which is considered by most to be the choicest portion of the Musk Ox Horn. The stand was an after thought. Had a scrap of PB Ivory I pick up from Bill (Pixelfixed) It had a big chip in it so I sanded that area flat and tried my hand at a little musk ox scrimshaw. Used an old sewing needle and some Parker jet black Super Chrome ink. I inserted a magnet in the rear of the base and it grips the razor very nicely.

    Have a great Week !

    Best Regards Kenny

You are a man of many talents. I can see the eclectic mix of inspiration that has gone into this, from vintage and more modern influences alike, and the overall result is quite spectacular. Have you shaved with it yet?

Beautiful!! It reminded me of something at first glance, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Finally hit me. It resembles a seahorse, but not one I'd want to swim into!! Excellent razor, Thanks for sharing!

    Regards,

    Howard

Edit: Like Zephyr, How do you hone it?

I'm speechless. OK, I'm not really, but words just don't do the job.
Each of your new iterations breaks barriers. Wonderful! One can only
fantasize where this is all headed.
