F. Reynolds Custom Restoration in Honey Horn
Every now and then you get a piece of raw material, that just really stands out, and this piece of Honey Horn was one of them, was so easy to work, and the coloring was just outstanding...This is very near a full wedge, super heavy blade,,
Make: Frederick Reynolds, Sheffield England
Size: 6/8
Steel: Carbon, Satin finish buffing
Grind: Near Wedge
Scales: Buffalo Honey Horn
Finish: Micro-Mesh to 12000 grit w/water
Wedge: Bison Bone
Pins: Brass
Washers: Brass
Hones: Norton 1-4-8, Select Coticule Finisher

That honey horn is outstanding. It's got a beautiful colour. I like that little portion on the non-stamped side of the blade that almost turns blonde near the toe.
Don't mind the Starrett either!

If the original manufacturer saw that he would probably go home and slap his dad for not teaching him to do that kind of work. Another outstanding job. Your restorations never cease to amaze me.
