My barber has put me onto this mob in Brisbane.

I haven't been there yet so can't comment on anything more than their existence.

This is why I dont own any razors younger than 50 years, and have never paid more than 45 bucks for a razor.

But you could get a "rare" Edwin Jagger 5/8 ebony straight razor from them for $239.00 and it has been marked down from $299!

Hang-on... Isn't that a re-branded version of this Professionally Sharpened Dovo "Astrale" Ebony 5/8 Straight Razor for $113.99

And you don't even get the gold sticker or the Dovo logo! Ripped Off!

A big recommendation for www.himage.com.au and Lie-Nielsen Toolworks Australia | Home

I ordered a razor, brush, strop and a few creams/balms etc from Himage Sunday night, and they arrived Tuesday morning. Each individual item was gift wrapped. A free token gift was enclosed. And amazingly in this day and age, a hand written card saying to enjoy my new razor products and to have a great week. A touch of old times perhaps.

I ordered a Norton 4000/8000 stone from Lie Nielsen on Monday morning. It arrived overnight from across the other side of our fine country.

Very happy chap. That being said - I have a new razor kit... Etc... But no honing skills Luckily I have another (honed) razor arriving tomorrow (Lakeside Cutlery), and a few cheapies from eBay to practice on in the coming week.

for a seccond i thought that strop was a beauty & barber (B&B)... I'm guessing its not as the handles look a little different. its the hook at the top that made me think of it.

The B&B strops may be an imitation of what you have.

This is the one it reminds me of..
