    Default Deer Season 2017

Rifle Deer Season is upon us here this weekend. Bow has been going for a couple weeks already. Weather is getting colder which is good and I'm ready to go.

Wishing all of you a safe and successful hunt this year!

Post some pictures of what you shoot if you can.

    Have fun,

    Lynn

    Good luck folks.

Hoping next year to take a dear stalking course and apply for a hunting rifle.

Then I can get out dear stalking here in Scotland.

Ah the laws are pretty much the same. Except we now need a license for an air rifle.

But different police forces do things on differing timescales. I have a firearms license but not for anything that I would shoot a deer with.

But if I get my DSC I'm on good ground to apply for an addition.

Over here it is State to State

Sometimes even county to county and area to area as to how things work

It can be very confusing to anyone not used to hunting in their area

Here you either need to own or have permission of the owner of the land to hunt anything.

If your caught on land with a gun and no permission you'll loose your certs, guns and probanly freedom.

Most deer stalking is organosed by lamdowners.
