Ok, I'm sitting here viewing what games I have. Ummm I like platformers/action games. DOOM just about ROCKS and is my alltime favourite, well next to The Sims. Yeah I know Sims is not for everyone but I recolour game object too, which I have published on a site, so it's all good.

The only PC games I have is Sims1 and all EP's and Sims2 with the Uni EP. My first console was an Atari, way back when the likes of Frogger, Space Invaders and Pac Man and River Raid were big. Then I had a ZX Spectrum which actually crashed more games than it played!

Next came the Sega Mega Drive which I still have and play on occasionally (usually when I want a Pinball or sonic fix) a PS2 and a Nintendo DS for when I'm on the move. I have all Sims for PS2 as well as Jak & Daxter, Simpsons Road Rage and Hit & Run, Gauntlet because it is such a great classic game and I like the Valkyrie and sorceress characters. GTA is a must as are Doom and Gun.

I'm being more and more tempted by the Wii but I won't spend on one due to feeding my other AD's.

Unfortunately, I cannot beat Raining Blood on expert. It's the only song left before the Lou Battle that I can't get past. It's driving me crazy. If I could only get past the first insane batch of hammer-ons, then I'd be okay.

Funny, I can play through TTFATF, but can't even get 35% of Raining Blood.

Also, I have NOT noticed any problems with the guitar so far. However, I never take the neck apart. I always lat the guitar down next to my TV.

Battlefront 2 was a game my brother thoroughly enjoyed. Not sure if he's aware that Battefront 3 is coming out...

I liked GTA: Vice City, and part of 3, but then it got boring. I think I really started getting bored when I got stuck on a mission. Haven't checked out any cheats or anything yet. Might have a go at it again. If I get back into it, then I suppose I'll have to add Liberty City to the list, possibly San Andreas as well. Even though it's old, I heard it was really good. I always enjoyed tuning into VCPR during my drives. Man, there are crazy people in Vice City...

I can't hit that one either. Really, with the exception of One by Metallica, all those last tier songs are my weakest ones. I think though, once I get a new guitar, I can start beating those songs. I never took it apart either and was always real careful with it- I only pulled the neck when I noticed it was going loopy on me. Grr...

Silver, if you like action platformers, seriously check out Ratchet and Clank for PS2. You can skip the first two, but Up Your Arsenal and Deadlocked are some serious fun. Watch out though- I played the new R&C on PS3 and it was stunningly beautiful and seriously fun. Along those same lines, I beat Metal Gear Solid 4 last night. Talk about a ride! They need to make a movie of it. The cool part is, I got the award for headshots. Hell yeah!

GTA never really interested me much, though the Godfather game (which is essentially the same, just Godfather style) is an addiction of mine. Gun was an awesome game, but I had a hard time with it for some reason. I'm hoping they introduce a sequel or continuation of some sort for the Wii.

TY Agent Orange I already have the first R&C, which blew me away when it first came out. I just haven't had the chance to get the others due to AD addictions, hehehe

If anyone is keeping an eye out for Spore, EA now have a Creature Creator you can download as either a free trial or buy it and get the price discounted off the main game purchase when it is released. Spore™

I've had a play with the free version over the last few days and you do get some cool critters after playing for awhile. I doubt if I'll be buying it though due to harddrive space and Sim addiction.

Heh, I do go by that from time to time- ya caught me

Is spore really that cool? From what I could tell, it was one of those things I could take or leave. What do you do after you've created the creature?

Well I'm not sure if the graphics are a little too cutsie for the boys, they were borderline for me!

With the trial you get about 25% of the creature build items available. So you're a little limited to how many you can create. You get different skinning options too, some great two tone mottled looking ones.

As for what you can actually do with your creatures, well you can make babies of your critter at the click of the mouse and they will interact with each other. The little ones copy whatever you tell the adult ones to do.

I'm not sure if you get a sandbox version of the game if you pay for the programme, but if it is like Sims Bodyshop it is just a create and view package.

If this follows the same pattern as The Sims then there soon will be a HUGE ammount of downloadable custom content available. There are some very tallented 3D meshers out there who make game items from scratch, I haven't even worked in 3D yet!!

As for the game itself when it is released, think Sims in Space.
