how about some pics of your wheel guns? i have always owned semi-autos and just recently got a revolver and now have rad relvolver aqusition disorder i hop to get a 500 s&w in the future but here is my taurus tracker 44 mag 6.5 inch barrel my only complaint is that it only fires 5 rounds

come on glen i know you have some six shooters or least that is what your name implies?

this is what i am getting next i have heard a watermelon is about the same as a human head i would not want to get shot with this bad boy

I came close to buying one of those. I was in the gun shop and they had one with an 8" and the other a 4" and to be totally honest I couldn't make my mind up which to buy. I went home that thought about it and the realization came to me that if I bought it I would take it to the range, shoot it for one session and then clean it, put it away and probably never shoot it again. I have a few like that.

Here is my 2nd generation Colt Single Action Army New Frontier 44 Spl and another in 357 magnum. Below that a S&W Performance Center 44 Magnum with a short barrel and another with a 7 1/2" bbl and a box of front sights that can be changed by a spring loaded gizmo in the top of the barrel. I have a few semi autos as well and a 22 revolver but these are my coolest firearms. I used to shoot quite a bit. Reloaded and even cast my own bullets at one time but in the past few years I don't shoot much anymore. Sorry for the poor pics.

I have a colt Phyton in a will for me from my old man. I love shooting it one of best revolvers ever made IMHO

I like revolvers. Currently I only have two.

A Colt Agent with hammer shroud and custom Craig Spegal Stocks. Use Corbon ammo. Its a great little pistol Has a smooth action, good sights and i like the six shots it provides over the J Frame Smith's five.
I carried this as a back up weapon for years.

When I retired I ordered A Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 327 in the two inch barrel version. This is a big gun built on the Smith N framae but weighs only 21 oz. I bobed the hammer for pocket carry. It is an eight shot and i use Corbon ammo in it also.

The best revolver I ever owned was a Smith Model 29, 44. Mag. with 4 inch barrel. I took out the large target trigger and hammer and replaced them with service style models. Steve Herrett of Herett's stocks made a special set of stocks for me to fit my small hands. The action was tuned and I loaded 240 grain semi wadcutters to about 950 fps. It was amazing how accurate that pistol was. Sold it to my brother in law and have regretted it ever since.

As much as i have enjoyed revolvers. My go to guns will always be the model 1911 and Springfield XD in 45 ACP.

thanks for the replies . i figured a lot more people would have revolvers is seems like one of those things that just go with str8 shaving . jimmy, you could not pay me to shoot that snub nose 44 mag it would end up behind me somewhere. i also have a 45-70 govt. rifle and i seen where magnum research makes a revolver in that cal. i think they call it the b.f.r (they are the makers of the desert eagle) magnum research makes revolvers in all kinds of strange calibers

Back in the seventies I was an Elmer Keith devotee. I wasn't as tough as old Elmer so I would reload 44 magnum cartridges to a manageable level. Still hot enough to give me permanent damage to my right elbow but not as powerful as the factory loads. That 45/70 pistol is cool. I always wanted a 454 Casull with the optional 45 long colt cylinder. Maybe someday if I ever get rich. Meanwhile the snubnose 44 mag is so heavy that is dampens recoil. It really is a great little gun. BTW, the long barreled 44 is polished stainless although it looks like nickel in the photo.

I've been trying to get the pictures right so this is what I have come up with. With the 500 S&W Magnum it seems you could bend over and walk down the barrel. I also have the Freedom Arms .454 Casull with the extra .45 LC cylinder. The Freedom Arms is far and away the most precise metal worked firearm that I have. Where metal meets metal the line is barely visible. Other wheelgun pictures will come as soon as I can get the pictures together. These will be at the MidMo Meetup for your inspection.

That Freedom Arms 454 is the one that calls out to me. OTOH, I know that with my elbow being how it is I wouldn't be able to do much more then admire it. I've heard that the workmanship is second to none. That S&W is a beauty too. Thanks for the photos.
