    Default Badger Toothbrushes!?

I recently bought some things from Shoebox and noticed they're selling badger hair toothbrushes.

Personally, I don't really get too excited at the thought of cleaning my teeth so have recently been wondering if there was an old fashioned product out there that might transform my oral hygiene routine.

So has anybody tried one or thought about trying one of these:

Koh-I-Noor Tooth Brushes - Boar, Wild Boar, Badger and Tynex Models

If you have, could you please tell us a little about it?

    Cheers,

    Rob

As a dental hygienist, I was looking at Classic Shaving's Swissco line of badger brushes Oral Care and some Marvis toothpaste. When I told the dentist, he just rolled his eyes and gave me one of the Sonic-Care units he had in his office...and haven't looked back.

I suppose the biggest concern I have about the Koh-I-Noor is that they do not list the bristle hardness. Try to get something with soft bristles as this will avoid gingival recession which can lead to problems like loose teeth and periodontal disease.

The bottom line is that shaving is a mundane experience and you found something to spice it up. Go with the Koh-I-Noor or a Swissco and you might just find out that you've turned something mundane into something fun.

Personally, I've integrated my oral hygiene into my shaving ritual. After washing off with cold water and rinsing off my blade, I brush my teeth and then put on aftershave.

$20 is pretty steep for a tooth brush.

If it was better than a reach Oral-B then maybe....

    but meh...
