They are softer material than the barrel, they shouldnt hurt anything except the intended target. Also, the military uses #6 buck, turns a target into absolute crap!

BTW I picked up my first paw paw Saturday as I was walking the creek!

Nice! I assume that you mention the Paw Paw because it drew down on you and you were obliged to subdue it with deadly force?

I have to recommend the Mossberg 930 SPX-

I like it!

I wanted to go with a pump gun so I wouldn't have cycling issues with some of the low recoil stuff I am using and I considered mossberg, but in the end I have used an 870 a lot more in my recreation shooting so I went with it.

The '870' has been around a long time. I have one with a slug barrel for hunting and a another for trap shooting. Good gun.

Benalli nova 12ga and a saiga 12 (somewhat modified). Sorry for the lack of photos, will probably post later (if I remember).
