With over 27,000 members, I'm sure you'll find someone with the same interests as you.

While the similarities are undeniable, I've also been struck by the diversity. If you follow the posts in The Conversation, it becomes obvious that we have members with very different political, social, religious views, members from different social classes, different age groups (I think the youngest I've seen has been 15, the oldest well over 65). I think it's great (and I'm far from the first to day so) that so many people with opposing views can find a point of common interest and remain so friendly toward one another. The debates may get heated, but so far I haven't heard of any of our members using their blades on one another.

Sometimes what may seem to be rare occurrences are really not that at all. It's not that we are of all different backgrounds and ages and all that and we all like straights but the the fact we are all interested in straights and traditional shaving already defines much about us and our interests and this site has brought us all together.

Several years ago when I was working for the INS in L.A in to the office comes this Iranian guy I had last seen in High School on the east coast many years ago. He thought it was an amazing coincidence we met again like that. I said not at all. L.A has the largest iranian population in the U.S and eventually you needed to come here to straighten your legal status and our office here is #2 in the country in size so it's really not that unusual.
