Achor Steam: this beer is the standard by which I judge all craft beers. Anchor has done it right for so long, I think its fair. It's my go-to first beer on a crisp spring or fall day.

    Cheers,

    Default Griffin's Row

This is a real nice Barleywine...I have appended my review over in the BA site:

I haven’t tasted many Barleywines so I went out and bought this bottle. It poured a half inch head, my nose registered a lot of complex aromas among them: mango, bananas, pineapple. It has a somewhat bitter after taste that complement its fruity fore taste. I like it, I will pair this with some mild cheese and drink it after a dinner…and remember folks to support your local brewery DRINK BEER. HOG.

For today's offering I bring you a nice ale from Belgium; this ale is a donker and it is very sweet, malty and as you can see nice lacing around the glass..and don't forget to support your local brewery DRINK BEER. HOG.
