If I wasn't sure you were joking I would have had to mod. that one for sales talk.

Well...Since she's going to kill you anyway... I should have mentioned, I also made a ambidextrious multi position sheath for mine too. Standard sheath is a cheaply made left hand side only job.

I'd say go with the Ka-Bars. I love them.

I have quite a few of them. If I were to carry one all the time it would be the short one. Just as strong as the larger versions but small and noble for everyday usage.

Here are some pics of my modest collection:Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1301573508.015455.jpg

Basil you ever carried the Short one on your ankel? I've been debating picking one up for it. But I can't find a ankel sheath for it.

I really want Cold Steel's Black Bear Classic or a Natchez Bowie.

I own a USMC (The only one I have). An original that has been through WWII and been used hard. It was given to me many years ago by a friend in the military. I don't know where he got it from, but I'm glad he gave it to me. I like the Ka-bar knives. The beauty is in their simple functionality. Saying all that, I'm still not a fan of through tang knives. I like full tang knives for serious work.

I haven't tried that. The plastic sheath it came with does have the spacing for straps or a tie cord if you wanted to experiment.

When I go camping I usually keep the short one on my chest strap of my bag and one of the longer ones on my hip.
