That is very nice. It is both utilitarian and has a graceful beauty about it as well. I am fond of a wedge grind myself.
Does the sheath hold the blade by friction or some sort of mechanical means?

The blade stock is so thin that hollow grinding wasn't really an option. The full flat was also easier to make which was a good thing. I admit that this sheath is prettier than yours. She got new leather and better tools, and used the knowledge gained from making your sheath to really improve the quality.
The blade is just held in by friction, it's simple and easy to use. I'm not worried about blade retention; yesterday I ended up rock-climbing for several hours before remembering to take the knife off of my belt.
