    Default Combs

I'm curious to know if anyone has found a good quality comb, or perhaps a novel way to carry your comb. The problem is my little pocket combs are just cheap, plastic things, so they break easily in my back pocket. Not only that, but the stupid thing is always sliding down sideways. Assuming I don't have cargo pants or carry a backpack, what are your suggestions (aside from shaving my head, of course )?

I cannot find it now, but there is a company making wide tooth horn combs. I don't know about the longevity as I don't carry, but the size is right for carrying. I would recommend wide tooth as they pull less on the hair causing less damage.

Haha the Corps regs are 0's on the side so I just go that length all over. And think of the money you'll save on shampoo.

Chinese swear by combs made of bull's horn, which makes some sense since they probably exude some kind of keratin/lanolin substance. Maybe try one of those, but I'm sure they're brittle. My hair hastily retreated a few years ago so combs are in my past. Just be thankful you can even ask the question!

I've considered bull's horn, but the teeth are too coarse for my hair. I think they use bull's horn because it doesn't produce static.

I already have my phone in a case on my belt. Why not my comb? (I have the luxury of being able to wear my shirts untucked.)

    Slowrain,
I wish I had your comb problem; I don't have any hair.
If I had hair, I would wear my comb around my neck so everybody could see it !!!

When my hair is long enough to necessitate carrying a comb with me, I put it in my glasses case which is usually in my shirt pocket or clipped to my tool box.

My hair is about a quarter inch long, and if I lose more of them, I can wash them individually
Not much need for a comb.
My one solace is that I don't have bald spots. It's thinning but still spread out evenly.
